How much does transport cost in Lagos Life Game?
Lagos Life has six ways to get around: trek, keke, danfo, okada, cab and your own car. Every fare is a base fare plus a rate per km, rounded to the nearest ₦50. The table shows each ride and what trips from a short hop to a long haul cost on a normal day.

Two rides stand out. The cab is the priciest paid ride at ₦400 for 5 km. Your own car is the cheapest after trekking at ₦50, because you only pay for fuel. The Nepo start comes with a car, and the LAPO start does not include one. Keke and danfo charge exactly the same (₦100 plus ₦5 a km), so choose between them on speed.
How is a Lagos Life fare worked out?
Take the ride’s base fare, add the rate for every km, then round to the nearest ₦50. The picture works through a 5 km okada ride, which comes to ₦200.
The rounding means short trips cost the same as slightly longer ones: a 5 km and a 10 km keke ride both cost ₦150, and a 2 km drive in your own car rounds down to ₦0. That is our arithmetic from the game’s fare formula, on a normal day.
Which ride is the fastest in Lagos Life?
A fare is only half the choice, because each ride moves at its own speed. The game lists minutes per km before traffic. The okada is the quickest at 2 game minutes per km, so 10 km takes 20 minutes. Your own car takes 21, the cab 23, the danfo 30 and the keke 34. Trekking takes 12 minutes per km, which is 120 minutes for the same 10 km.
Put price and time together and two things follow. The danfo beats the keke on speed for the same fare. The okada beats the cab on both counts: for a 10 km trip it costs ₦250 against ₦450 for the cab, and it is quicker.
When do Lagos Life fares go up?
Two things raise a fare. Only the cab gets the rush-hour rise: its fare goes ×1.5 at 06:00–09:00 and 16:00–20:00 (Lagos time). On a random fuel-scarcity day every paid ride costs ×1.5. Trekking stays free.
Is there a bus in Lagos Life Game?
The transport list has six options and none is called a bus. The danfo, the shared minibus Lagos is known for, does that job, and the game’s own tagline for it is “Enter with your change!”. Do fares matter next to your pay?
